Eko Mat Manduka is a bright future for yogamats saving the environment and health of yogis. After more than 4 years of development with the help of yoga teachers Manduka managed to create long-lasting yogamat. It is made of non-Amazon harvested natural tree rubber with non-toxic foaming agents and non-AZO dyes.

TECHNOLOGY
Technology three layers provide the optimum combination of grip, comfort, durability, and anti-slip surface:
The top layer - adhesion and durability. Thanks to the closed cell structure it keeps moisture and sweat from seeping into the mat.
Middle layer - resistance to deformation. The middle layer is made of biodegradable blends of cotton and polyester. All three layers are linked together by thermal processes so there is no need for toxic adhesives.
The bottom layer - is a kind of" cushion "to protect your joints. It also has a closed cell structure that provides excellent grip on all kinds of surfaces.
STORAGE
Try rolling it so the top surface is facing outwards. This keeps the corners of the mat flat when practicing. Do not put in washing machine. Do not leave the mat exposed to direct sunlight.
TREATMENT
The top layer has a closed cellular structure and it does not absorb sweat. Therefore, it needs to be cleaned regularly. We recommend using Manduka Mat Wash Spray or cleaner without solvents. A further option is a home-made apple cider vinegar and water 1: 1. Spray the top surface with mat cleaner, wipe clean with a damp cloth and hang to dry.
All eko yogamats are 99% latex free. They are therefore suitable for persons allergic to latex. If you know you are sensitive to even traces of latex, we recommend Manduka PRO series.
