Bodhi Zafu ECO is a traditional meditation cushion with pleats. The cushion is suitable for sitting meditation in a cross-legged sitting position (Sukhasana), in a perfect posture (Siddhasana) or for meditation in a half lotus. It is mainly used in classical meditation techniques such as those taught in Yoga, Zen, Mahayana or Hinayana Buddhism.
The meditation cushion Zafu ECO has a cover made of 100% organic cotton and an inlet filled with kapok fibres. To refill and remove the filling you will find a hidden zipper under one of the pleats.

Would you like your Bodhi meditation cushion to be softer or lower? Simply remove some filling. If the meditation cushion is too high or too hard for you it is easy to remove spelt hulls (kapok). To do this, open the meditation cushion with the zipper under the strap. You can then open the ticking separately and remove as much spelt hulls (kapok) as needed until the desired height or hardness is reached. Through velcro on the side it is possible to add/remove filling. The removed cushion filling can be then stored in a cool and dry place to be used later. We recommend a closed container.
